Members of Overlake Collie Club proudly participated with their Collies in the 2024 Scottish Highland Games on July 27-28, 2024.
In the Celtic Kennel arena and in the Opening Ceremony parade, Overlake Collie Club members had several dogs available for the public to see & pet as well as to answer questions from visitors of all ages about the breed and dog ownership.
This year, our club was honored to receive the Celtic Kennel “Chieftain Award” given by the President of the SSHGA and the Chieftain of the Games! The award is given based on communication of breed history, interaction with volunteers, dog friendliness and personal evaluation. Congratulations to the members and dogs present for being wonderful ambassadors for an amazing breed of dog!
