Hello Everyone,
Due to continued complications and logistics issues with the COVID restrictions in the county, the Overlake Collie Club and the Collie Club of Washington have had to move our shows away from our usual date and location in late February at Argus Ranch. We are ‘pivoting’ as many clubs have had to do and are planning a revised joint Specialty weekend showcasing 2 specialties a day on May 14-16, 2021…6 Specialties in a weekend! The location will be announced once we have a contract in place but we anticipate it will be in King County at a dog friendly venue. The judging panel for the new date is currently being worked out.
Because of the extra effort needed in putting on any dog event, the clubs felt we would not be able to do justice in holding both Collie Specialties and All Breed Rally & Obedience at the revised date and location. We are however making plans for stand alone Rally and Obedience performance events in 2021 and each club will be announcing those dates/locations at a later date.
Thank you everyone for your patience as we do the best we can to adjust to a changing landscape in the dog show world. We look forward to seeing everyone soon in the safest way possible!
